Accelerated Learning & Study Techniques
6 proven back stretches, ai slop, plus the 14 things I texted clients this week. đ±
Hey friend,
Last week I shared my 12 favorite training and nutrition books.
Which brings us to meta-habit of how best to read, study and learn.
Distilled what Iâve learned across reading around a dozen books on the subject into a handy guide on the blog, how to master studying and accelerated learning.
A few of my favorite snippets.

#2. How to Best Retain Information
Listen to information = Retain a little bit of it.
Read the information = Retain a little bit more.
Write the information down = Retain a lot more of it.
But when you TEACH the information = You retain the most.
Practice 3 and 4 as much as you can for the most efficient long-term memory retention.

#4. Beating Procrastination
Use a progress journal/app for your Most Important Tasks (Ivy Lee Method).
At the beginning or end of each day, write down the 6 most important tasks you need to complete for the day for making progress in your life.
Rank them 1-6, put all your effort into accomplishing them in order.
If a task is too large to complete in 15-30 minutes, then break the task down into smaller chunks.
If youâve gone pro at procrastination, break it down into 2-5 minutes.
Even if you only knock out 1-2 of these a day, given enough time, youâll be miles ahead of your competition.

#9. Mastering Challenging Topics = Feynman Method
Write down the concept you are struggling with at the top of a sheet of paper.
Write down your explanation of the concept in plain English as best you understand it, pretend you are explaining this to a 5 year old.
Pinpoint what you donât know or donât understand.
Go back to the source material and review it. Reread and relearn.
Simplify your language as much as possible, use simple analogyâs wherever possible.
